Camera orientation path/polygon
I am trying to capture video of a building under construction. Ideally, I would just use an oblong orbit but evidently you cannot alter from a circle. So I basically have created an oblong path/polygon with the first waypoint and the last waypoint in approximately the same location,, with a POI in the middle of the building. I have it set to automatically start recording video with a target height of 15' (the building is about 30 feet high). I added a POI near the center of the building. Based on the google earth export, everything looks fine except the video records in the direction of flight (from waypoint a to b to c etc.) rather than focusing on the POI.
I looked at the heading component, is that the trick? At each waypoint, I have to change the heading to look at the POI? If that's the case, then I assume the POI isn't functional with a path.
If I do an orbit with a POI, it works fine, I'm just capturing too many adjacent properties.
I'm using a mavic mini.

Did you create just a POI? Try adding a marker and place it where you want to start pointing at the POI. If there is only one POI, the marker should automatically be associated with the one POI.
Thank you, that was the missing piece - markers, extremely helpful. I can add more markers so the camera points to where I need it as it makes its way around the building, perfect.

Also sounds like the façade functionality might be useful to your project. Have you looked at the 101 tutorials?
Yes, thank you for the suggestion; at some point I would like to try the facade function; my plan doesn't include it at this point, and I want to cut my teeth on some simple missions first.
