Hobbyist - Facade
As of today i can't edit my facade plan (already flown), i get this message:
Components | Facade
This feature is only available for these plans: Growth | Enterprise.
Am I missing something in hobbyist plan?

We had to remove the Facade component from the Hobbyist plans because too many users were using it for commercial purposes (violating the license agreement). You now need a business plan to fly facades. If you have a non-commercial use case for using this component, we are interested to know what it is, but we haven't figured out a way (technically) to make it available for non-commercial use while at the same time preventing license violations.
Hi, i had planned some facades for a personal recreational project of the castle´s ruins where i live, and maybe a solution could be limiting the uses of facade ? example for 3 a week, as a hobby i can do my project with that limitation but some professional would need more than 3 a week, and maybe include a watermark?
Same here. The facade I made was for medieval church as a hobby project...

Hi,
I find it surprising that a feature will be deleted for every hobbyist that was previously included when purchased. I don't feel right about that.
I am a complete beginner in using dronelink. I am also a beginner in droning and I only use the program at the hobby level. I made a facade plan for our own house several days ago. I wanted to plan more regularly today. But the program no longer allows it. Please restore the opportunity.

That is not the official policy. If you email support with your specific use case to prove that you are not using it commercially, we will take requests on a one-off basis.

It is not fair if you pay for some functionality by purchasing an application and then that functionality is taken away. I have not yet reached the stage of discovering this interesting possibility in a great application such as Dronelink, and it is already blocked. If possible, please unblock it and on my account (vg1(monkey)wp.pl).
Again, it is not our policy to remove it from people that are using it legitimately for non-commercial missions. We are going to turn it back on for legacy Hobbyist accounts temporarily to see if we can find a better way to handle the people violating the license agreement.

I was playing with Facade last summer, but these posts about it missing are 2 years old, that's weird. I fly a DJI Mini 1, not exactly a commercial use drone :)... So, can I please have the facade option turned back on so that I can keep experimenting with it.
Summer's just getting started here, and I was really looking forward to that, huge downer to see a feature I paid for suddenly be taken away. Otherwise, I love Dronelink, keep up the good work! But I did signup for a specific product and now I am being punished for no reason of my own. If this is going to be the trend, then I guess Map mode will be next, because someone uses it for commercial use etc. If this option is not restored, then sadly I will have no choice but to start looking at other software.
As a new drone user, I have spent significant amount of time researching how to use various Dronelink features, making detailed notes etc. Now, with main features disappearing, it is like the rug is being pulled from under my feet. After always praising it and recommending it to friends, I am experiencing a sudden and significant loss of trust for Dronelink, which up to this point has been a 5 star application.

Granted, this post was a while ago and there are other threads on the subject, but since this one hasn't been updated: we have the ability to add a-la-carte features to any plan now, so if you have a legitimate, non-commercial use case for Facade, just email support@dronelink.com and let us know so we can turn it on for you.
