How to use Camera Exposure Mode / Shutter Priority on Mavic Mini?
I tested this command. The Mini accepted it. I could setup the camera Shutter speed after it. I thought after this the Mini will choose (like half Auto mode) the ISO itselfs, but it does not. It looks like it is in Manual mode.
Could somebody explain me how this command works and what was the main idea to implement it?

Dear All,
Is it possible that none has opinion about my question or the question is so stupid that is better not to say anything?
Thanx,
Gábor
I have wondered what happens if a command is sent to the drone which is not applicable to that drone. If the command is marked required, one would assume an error code would come back to the app which would abort the mission.
I have also wondered what happens when a command does different things on different drones. The mini has a fixed aperture, so your supposition that it should vary the iso seems plausible.
Sorry I have no answers for you, but your question deserves one. Maybe there is relevant information in the DJI and Droneline SDKs.
I tried to send the command to the Mini. It accepted as I wrote in my first notice. On the other hand the drone behave as it was Manual. The best ISO settings was not generated by the drone. On the other hand if you are making videos and you select your FPS for your project, your video will look the best if you use the relevant Shutter speed. For example:
FPS=30, Shutter speed = 1/60
FPS=50, Shutter speed = 1/100
FPS=60, Shutter speed = 1/120
I am using ND filters which complicates the situation, but anyway, before any flight I am doing a test flight to check how to setup ISO for the best result. If the drone could choose the best ISO for the given Shutter speed itself our life would be much more easier.
If you mark a command as required and it fails then Dronelink fails the whole mission.
Hello Jim,
Of course I marked command as required and the Mini accepted it. I thought maybe the I have to execute set up of Shutter to speed to 100 first and then Camera Exposure Mode to Shutter Priority. Or vica versa, but the result is the same. Drone does not set the ISO according the Shutter Speed. Is this an error in the SDK (the drone should have report an error in case of Mini) or Mini does not knows this command? Please read my original question and leave your opinion about it...
Here you have a link to my video setup:

Dronelink just lists all the possible commands in the DJI SDK, and will execute them blindly if you ask it to. If the DJI SDK does not report an error when the command is execute, Dronelink has to assume it worked. In this case it is possible the DJI SDK should be reporting an error when it does not.
