Dronelink planner to app communication
When are dronelink mission plans communicated to the app? Are they stored locally in the phone and updated whenever the app is launched with internet connectivity available?

The plans are constantly synchronized while the native app has a network connection (usually happens in milliseconds).
Thanks Jim. Up til now I have been flying with a phone as display but I am moving to a tablet for better visibility of the display. The tablet only has wifi and I will be flying away from wifi.
So important tip: fire up the app where an internet connection exists before you head out to fly dronelink missions if you are going to be unable to connect to the internet. Get the latest updates to your plans or unexpected things might happen.
BTW: Dronelink is absolutely great - I only wish for better mapping in the areas where I fly - something over which Dronelink has no control.
