Mission preview on iPad Air 2

I have no problem previewing missions on my computer or iPhone 8 but I can’t get it to work on my iPad Air 2. The mission preview is generated but nothing happens when I hit the play button, nor can I scroll by dragging the Time control. I also cannot close the preview window to return to the plan. Should this work on an ipad Air 2? Thanks

    My guess is that tablet is too old to handle the mission preview.
