I'm new and I have some questions

I hear about things in the tutorials where someone does something with the iPad etc. . I use a Mavic Mini.

Why there is no schematic known by engineers that shows the principal communication and needed devices.

My components don't work together and I have no glue why. I can authorize the Desktop but not the software on the phone. There is no error and description given (Meaningful).

It doesn't work only NOT for ME?

What has to run on the phone, where you plan your route and which authorizations and steps has to be done at which device. Provide background about the procedure and how things are working so that a 1st plan in the sandbox can run.

  • Something like Dronelink MUST work together in 10 Minutes. It cannot be more complex with the right manuals.

    Frank,

    Sorry for your frustration.

If you watch the last video, I showed how you can log in to DL, create a mission in 10-15 minutes, and bring it out and press "play" and it goes.

When you start, you need to install the Native app on your iPad, log in, and you should see the missions you created on your PC.  Load, turn on the drone, press play.  That's it!

Not sure what authorizations you're talking about beyond the approval e-mail you should have got when you first signed up.

    Have you seen this video?

Do you mean permissions on Android?

    Is there a "manual"?

I realize this is a relatively new software package but all I've found so far is a bunch of videos that seem to be stream of consciousness type writing.

I can put up with stumbling around trying to figure things out but if there is a good manual or roadmap it would really help.

A manual Is in the works, but not completed yet.

Have you been following the Dronelink 101 videos?  They are in order and from the basics to the advanced concepts.

I have viewed most of the 101's, but have yet to find the one that shows how to get the app on my Windows PC.  I thought that I had seen where there was a very limited program that only allowed a few waypoints, but now all I find is the $20 and up offerings.

Does the "free but limited" version still exist?

    George,

There is no Windows App.  All flight missions are planned in a browser in Windows, Mac, phone, tablet.  When you fly a mission, you need the native app which runs either in IOS or in Android.

    The free version is gone.

We are going to update the one video that talks to that, but our plan is to further update pricing in the next month or so.
