Gimbal Pitch on rising orbit

Marc Dufour

I just created an orbit where it starts at 6 ft and rises to 100, and a radius from 20 ft to 100 ft.

At the same time I want the gimbal to slowly angle down, to keep the subject in view. I can't seem to figure that part out.

Any thoughts?

Not possible using Orbit right now. You might be able to do something similar with a Path and markers, but it will be hard to make it a perfect circle.

Ah that's too bad. Seems like it would be a great feature, similar to the starting and ending values for altitude.

It has already been requested in the feature requests board.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean. But you can lay down an Orbit as a template, then lay down a path with markers to change gimbal, altitude etc, along the full radius. Delete the Orbit when you're done and you have a perfect circle.
