Drifting off course

Bradley Dauberman

Yesterday, I ran several duplicate missions, each at different speeds. Twice, I received the too far off course error. However, I don't think it was 75' off course.

It is possible that the drone was not able to fly as fast as you wanted (due to winds or other factors) and it was supposed to be further along the path but couldn't keep up.

It is very well possible it was behind where it wanted to be. Thanks

Is it possible to account for a headwind? I guess slowing down would be one method.

Dronelink already attempts to account for it, but if you are at the edge of the drone's performance envelope, the only solution is to slow things down to give the flight controller more margin to use for wind correction.
