There is no reason to set a channel. Whether it’s a FCC 5.8ghz or EU 2.4ghz drone it sets the channel mode to auto by default which works the best. I’ve never changed any transmission settings on any of my 3 drones and never had any issue. If you want to set a channel manually then set it in the DJI Fly app first then close and open DL.
