First flight concerns

Before I want to complete my first mission, I still have some concern about how to take full control of my Mavic Mini if something unexpected happens.

I have gone through the FAQ list, it says I can press the pause button or the RTH button.

If for some reason, during a mission, I don't want to press the RTH button, can I press the pause button and use the sticks to safely direct the drone to a certain place and let it land there?

So yesterday I had my first flight with Dronelink, the Dronelink Android app crashed or closed itself, after that nothing worked ...

Restarting the Dronelink Android app and the DJI Fly app also failed to establish a connection.

Just switching off the remote control put the drone on its return flight. Then I could take control again with the DJI Fly app!

Yes, i've done that exactly. After flying an orbit, as soon as it said mission accomplished, just take over the joysticks and it will respond. I didn't have to start DJI Fly. The RTH will land it right where it is if its within 20m radius from takeoff, that's a GPS accuracy limitation I think for all civilian applications.
