Collision avoidance?

Is it technically doable to implement some kind of a forward looking collision avoidance system using DJI MINI mono cameras?

If there were stereo cameras, it would be doable, but how about with some smart algorithm and a mono camera? The implementation would not have to be rock solid, but every little step towards a safer flying would be a big plus. Especially if you one day will present object tracking feature for MINI.
