Gimbal issues not rising to 20degrees on first row in Pano

Andrew Busst

Had success today with running a very straight forward rise vertically 20m and do a 360pano.

Trouble I have noticed is that the gimbal on the first row looks to be only rising about 5degrees when I have it set to 20 degrees. Works perfectly on the dronelink simulation and manually but just won't adjust up when running a mission (below). Am I missing something?

    Sorted this..... ran two tests

    Test 1

    Wrote a plan that took the Mini up 2 metres and just tried to take shots at 20, 10, 0, -10, -20, -30, -40, -50, -60, -70, -80 and -90 degrees gimbal pitch.

Result they all worked except for the 20 degree gimbal shot. The 20 degree shot dropped down to 0 degrees

    Test 2

    Wrote another plan but took shots at 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11 and 10 degrees gimbal pitch.

Result they all worked except for the  20 degree gimbal shot, it too dropped to 0 degrees.

So morale of the story is if you want the maximum 360 degree pano coverage using a plan, make your maximum upward gimbal angle 19 degrees... this is more than the plan in the Dronelink Depository which is only 12 degrees max.

We noticed a similar issue at the other end range (-90 degrees) and the code automatically converts this to -89.9 behind the scenes. Looks like for the mini it needs to do it at the top as well.

That's great that's done automatically at the bottom end.
