You don’t have a command to start capture. Or you can use auto capture. Or you can manually start and stop video

    Thank you Eric!

On the orange settings pin I set camera capture to video... On the approach I set a point of interest.
I thought this was all that was needed to take the video, I’m a noobie...  are those two steps unnecessary??

I would like to know two things please...

how to put a command to start capture on the approach and capture everything after that,

and how to put a start capture command in right at the beginning orange take off settings point, right from my backyard to the approach and then keep the camera on the whole time...

Happy to look at a YouTube video if there’s one there, can you please point me to the right one or answer these questions here?

    Thank you,

    Reuben

...also, I added a point of interest and marker isn’t that supposed to start the camera video capture?

... I looked at this video several times, and I don’t see you doing a capture command start anywhere... I was basically trying to do the same thing.

I think I get it now... I had a misconception that simply setting up a point of interest would automatically turn the camera on. Eric mentioned I could use auto capture, can that be from the mission start or the approach? I noticed there’s an automatic capture button on the mission start and the approach dialog boxes, will that take the place of sending a camera capture command?

I did look at all ~50 videos and still had this misconception, but now I get it!
I'll look for an update here before I go up again and start examining my flight plan a little bit better..

    Thank you,

    Reuben

Reuben - do you really want to shoot a video just for two seconds and then turn it off for quite a long time until you take video again?

No, but thank you for your comment...  I need to look at a closer, and modify it..

I personally like very much these horizontal little UI elements where I can see what really is happening. I wish I just could make this window height adjustable, now I can see only couple of objects at the same time and therefore have to scroll the page up and down a lot.

I figured it out, the camera reset list component bundle I got from the dronelink repository was I guess issuing a stop video causing me to get no video... I removed the camera reset liust component and put auto-capture on right at the mission start, and things worked out well...

I wonder if that camera reset list component bundle I got from the repository wasn't compatible with the Mavic Mini?

    Thank you,
    Reuben

This is the one that worked without the camera reset list component bundle I got from the Dronelink repository.
