"Unable to Take Control"
New to Dronelink and learning how it all works. I like working with it so far. I am testing things to see how to fly my Mavic Mini using the software. I intended to fly two missions today. Both of the missions required FAA airspace authorization because I live near an air force base. I have both of the authorizations to fly today.
Mission one required FAA authorization but did not require a DJI unlock to fly. That mission went as it should. I flew a simple orbit around a building while taking video.
Mission two required FAA authorization and a DJI unlock. I have both of those and unlocked it in the DJI app. This location was closer to the air force base. I was able to start the mission and everything with the approach went fine. When I got to the start of the orbit on this mission...I would immediately get the "unable to take control" message. I tried it on my Samsung Galaxy S20 5G and then on my iPhone 8. The same situation happened both times. I never could get past the command to start the orbit. I tried it three different times and had the same result. What am I missing?
