101 Training Series --> a search function

Tero

Now when I have had some time to read most of the discussions here I would propose something on the training side. I have today finished watching all the excellent 101 video series (this is what I would propose everybody to do). Those videos have been very helpful, but I think that when I later on bump into some problems, I don't recall anymore where in the almost 50 videos this topic was handled.

My proposal is that you would generate some kind of index search machine, where the user would fill in the key word(s) he needs more information about and then the machine would tell him in what videos this has been handled and even better, if the exact point (min:sec) would also be shown. E.g. a key word "immediate" would list all the videos where this has been explained.

Having said that, I still would prefer to have a full written documentation, at least for all the UI elements and stuff you can configure in the mobile and web apps, but having this kind of search function to 101 videos would also be very helpful.

    Tero -

    I think this is a great idea - I sometimes forget what video was covering what topics (and I organized and did the damn videos).

    I'm proposing to our team to identify a user who would be willing to document the topics covered and the video name and time in the video.   We'd give them a free Dronelink account to do that..

    Since you've already gone through the videos, not sure if you'd want to go through them again.  If not, I'm going to see about finding a good new user to do this for us..

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Eric - Thanks for your suggestion, but I have to decline. Although I would like to support you, especially when the initiative came from me, I don't have time for this excercise.
