image transmission signal weak

Flew my first dronelink flight a few minutes ago. It went fine with the exception of the error message "image tranmission signal weak".  I set up a test mission that allowed me to be within 20 feet of the drone (mavic mini) so this error seems very odd.

Anyone have any insight?  Was I too close to the drone?

 

Edit:  Neglected to mention that phone is a Sony Experia XZ1

    I have same problem. Mavic Mini. 

     

    Mission flight went ok. But whole flight top left app says image transmission signal weak. 

     

    Also didnt find any way to change wifi channel, if that makes this problem.

     

    btw. it says this signal weak right away when you get connection to app from drone. So its nothing to do with missions or how close or far away drone is.

    I had the same/similar  issues.. my FLY app connects immediately and works fine.. I didn't fly with Dronelink as I was concerned about connection if it's weak at ten feet.. The signal strength indicator was red too, and I don't recall seeing any GPS number. It seemed more like there was no connection.  Didn't occurred to me to try it with a short visual test at the time. Tried turning blue tooth and wifi on and off but no change. Tried airplane mode.  Don't know what else I should have tried. 

    Using the Mavic Mini with a fully charged controller and fully charged Moto G Power.   I have flow the Mini with no issues using this phone, and a Moto G7 power before this one. Both 64 bit.
