Video a little bit jerky during orbit
Hi!
last Tuesday I flew my first mission with Dronelink and my Mavic Air (1).
The drone executed my plan perfectly and I was quite impressed, however:
In the video my drone shot during the orbit I can see that the rotation is a little bit jerky
(so the drone is not always pointing exactly at the same location):
As comparison, I added a boomerang quickshot that I recorded with DJI GO just before the Dronelink mission – looks very smooth, so I am sure my Mavic Air has no problems…:
Are there any settings I could change in my plan to get a smoother result in Dronelink?
Here is the link to the plan:

Unlike DJI GO and most other flight apps, Dronelink runs on your mobile device and not onboard the aircraft: https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036830194
This gives Dronelink many distinct advantages over those competing flight controllers, but the one disadvantage is Dronelink has to account for the latency between the RC and the drone, where the other, onboard flight controllers do not. Your choices to get around this limitation are:
Hi Jim,
many thanks for your quick response. I'll try some other missions with reduced speed during an orbit...
I'v this issue to, with M2P and smartcontroller..
What is a good speed?
There is no single "good" speed for all conditions. You just need to experiment to see what works well for you.
