Version confusion
I am a little confused about what version I should have for the native app vs web app...
web app says
Dronelink
Version 1.4.1
Kernel
Version 1.4.0
native app says
Dronelink
Version 1.2.0 (2069)
Kernel
Version 1.2.1
Should these be in sync?

So I went ahead and reinstalled the Android native app and it went up...
So I did need to update but still not in sync with the web app. Is there a way to get information about when an update is available? While we wait for proper Google Play Store integration.
The web app and native app automatically notify you when you need to upgrade. The next version of the native app will also include a button to go download the APK or link to the App Store as well.
The web and native app versions are different because they are two different code bases, so they won't be in sync.
OK, so Kernel version is different even for the web app? I guess I thought the kernel was on the drone/aircraft.
As I said, I just manually reinstalled the APK and the version incremented so I needed to update. I just didn't see any notifications about this.
The web app gets the latest stuff first, so it may have a later version than the native app at any given time. The native app should show a message like this if you are too far behind:
We try to be lenient at let you run older versions of the native app, but if we make a kernel incompatible upgrade, we require an update.
OK, that makes sense. Thanks Jim!
