Markers?
It seem Markers are only available on path missions? Is there any plan or ability to make them available in other mission types?

Don't hold your breath. I am definitely not sold on the value of this. I would rather just implement waypoint types (like circle, etc) if that is really what you must have.

I have no idea of the technical/coding challenges of implementing markers on things like orbit or circle. But I for instance can imagine a spiral with speed ramping up and down to keep the rotational speed more constant as the radius changes and the gimbal pitch changing as the altitude changes.
Maybe waypoints are the easier path to the end result, but you you had made a convincing case previously that there was more flexibility with markers.
Spiral would be particularly difficult to put markers on in a 2D mission planner as the path could overlap if the starting and ending radius was the same.
