auto-resume mission after battery swap ?
When mapping mission that exceeds 1 battery will DL resume where it stopped after RTH and battery swap?

Yes, full mission resume is one if the key features of Dronelink.
great
would that be possible to land where battery finishes so save the travel home?
This functionality is baked in to the Drone's firmware (not under our control).
Is there a way to manually trigger a RTH prior to hitting the designated battery threshold? My attemps to do so seem to have defeated the resumption of the mission...when I hit PLAY to resume, the drone flies to the last location OK but then keeps rotating about in a confused fashion and will not proceed.
I would like to be able to do this so that I can choose the location in the path (near to me for example) to interrupt the mission, rather than having the return event happen spontaneously at the farthest point away from me, making me nervous that there is not enough energy to complete the return safely.
You can just press the RTH button on the RC whenever you want. Having said that, it sounds like you may be running in to a bug. Can you post a screen recording of the behavior?
Everything functions beautifully as expected on my Mavic Mini. For my Phantom 3 Pro, however, I cannot get any RTH or resume modes to work. When starting a mission, Dronelink states that controller must be in F mode for the mission to begin and will not proceed unless I switch from P mode. This always changes the RTH behavior when flying manually, so I am wondering if it is a factor.
Thus, for the Phantom 3, the mission commences and executes normally, but at the completion of the mission the drone hovers and does not execute the "mission complete RTH" that was commanded in Dronelink. If I manually pause the mission, and then press Play to resume the mission, the drone properly returns to the position it should to resume but then becomes confused, turns, flies a few feet, turns and flies back, and continues this "oscillating" behavior.
If, during the course of the mission, I use the controller to manually call for a RTH it is executed normally, but then clicking on the Play button in Dronelink to resume the mission has the same result...drone flies to resume point but then oscillates and remains confused. Nothing appears on the Dronelink screen to indicate anything is amiss during these behaviors.
Can you share the plan?
Sure, hope I am doing this correctly:

In respect of mapping missions in particular, please can you point me to a video that demonstrates the process of running a mission that requires at least one battery change, and/or detail the steps required to pause such a mission, RTH, change the battery, and then resume the mission? I am just getting into this and using a Mavic Mini, so basing your guidance on the Mavic Mini would be much appreciated.
We don't have a video on this because it is all automatic. The drone will automatically activate RTH (or you can do it via the RC hardware button), and in either case the mission will automatically disengage. When you finish swapping the battery, you just tap play and Dronelink takes care of the rest.
Hi Jim...
Your reply clarifies matters for me, so I will buy the Mapping Plan. Many thanks.
