Altitude "Range"

Michael Baxes

under altitude setting in a mission there is a section called "range" when I hover over that field it says "Drone cannot move toward the destination until it is within the altitude range".

I am a bit unclear about this.  Please explain.  thanks

It’s to help stop you flying into eg trees on your way to your desired eg 200’ altitude.
so straight UP until within eg +- 15’ ie 185’ to 215’ only then fly horizontally.

It’s all in the training vids

That field should also allow for an agl altitude input. Just to avoid to subtract the minimum safe altitude from the destination altitude to get the min altitude range. That is if you want to clear some trees after takeoff etc.
