Numerous questions from a newbie

sune

Hi all!

I have quite a few questions and I thought I shoot them all in one post. All help is greatly appreciated!

1. Is it possible to click a waypoint in the "component" list and see the waypoint in the map?

2. How do I make the aircraft descend/ascend on it's way to the next waypoint? As of now it adjust altitude BEFORE it starts the route.

3. Is it possible to click a waypoint and see a camera view from that waypoint? I know I can use "simulate drone" but this will be a new position.

4. How can I know what max speed I can give the drone for asc/desc. As of now it is traveling quite slow (Mavic 2 Zoom)

5. I'm creating a mission where I'm taking 8 different AEB photos in different locations and then shooting two orbits on video.

I do not understand the numbering of the components. Am I doing this right in creating List for each waypoint and then putting all "commands" underneath? Or should I do this in another manner?

PS: The "Vertical 5 AEB" element is another list.

This is my mission:

    Some quick answers:

    1. Is it possible to click a waypoint in the "component" list and see the waypoint in the map?

    Not that I know

    2. How do I make the aircraft descend/ascend on it's way to the next waypoint? As of now it adjust altitude BEFORE it starts the route.

Change this value to allow for it to move towards this destination before it reaches the set elevation.

    3. Is it possible to click a waypoint and see a camera view from that waypoint? I know I can use "simulate drone" but this will be a new position.

Not as I know - I use the preview and scrub trough the timeline

    4. How can I know what max speed I can give the drone for asc/desc. As of now it is traveling quite slow (Mavic 2 Zoom)

    https://www.dji.com/no/mavic-2/info

    Max Ascent Speed 5 m/s (S-mode)
    4 m/s (P-mode)
    Max Descent Speed 3 m/s (S-mode)
    3 m/s (P-mode)

Don't think it matters. Just place the elements in the order you want. Commands do not seem to get a list number which is odd.

You can change the default ascent and descent rates in the advanced plan settings:

The numbering is just for components that show up on map so you can tell which map icon goes to which component in the component navigator.
