I had hoped it was something else. I'm trying to find out how to make the drone just fly the waypoints looking straight ahead, and ignore all facing commands.
If you want to face forward along the path use a Marker choose "Drone heading", then Reference "Path". O degrees straight ahead, 90 degrees right, 180 behind, 270 left, etc.
I had been given to understand that there was a command on the native app to override all facing commands in the plan.
The purpose here is to have a plan with all of it's facing commands -- directions, POIs, whatever -- but for my first test run, tell the app to ignore all that and just make the drone fly the path, looking straight ahead (or allowing manual control) so I can fly the path to check for obstacles.
I'd asked about adding such a feature, and Jim said it was already there. I'm just looking for it.
If you click the ... button in the upper right corner of a mission plan in the native app, one of the options in the menu is Load Verification Mission.

It toggles the visibility of on-screen focus controls.

Haven't noticed it on my iOS version, maybe I am just not seeing it.

Got it, thank you.
