Map Style change turns off (hides) all displayed lines in Map Layers

I was going through some of the provided examples, such as Fairmont Chateau. When switching the map style, lines from the map layers go away. The flight path, path point of interest lines, and the circle on center pins all disappear. It is easy to use the 'ALL OFF' and 'ALL ON' buttons (Map Layer window) to bring the lines back.
