DJI M600 - CrystalSky
I am a postgraduate research student. For an upcoming field trip, I am planning to use a DJI M600 with a CrystalSky monitor for atmospheric sampling. Ideally, I would like to conduct four missions per day with battery changes in between. My plan is to carry out vertical profiles at four different locations, ranging from approximately 5 to 120 metres in altitude, with a set flight speed. I would also like the drone’s "nose" to remain facing north throughout the vertical profile.
While researching mission planning tools, I encountered mixed opinions about using Dronelink with the CrystalSky. Some users suggest that the CrystalSky may be too slow to run Dronelink efficiently, while others mention that the 32-bit version works reasonably well. Given that I will be purchasing a license on a student budget, I want to be sure that it will meet my needs.
As you might have gathered, I am fairly new to mission planning and am wondering if there is perhaps a simpler solution that I haven’t yet considered. I have tried to program a vertical mission using DJI Pilot but couldn’t find a way to meet my specific requirements.
Any advice or suggestions you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

You will more than likely have a bad to non-functional user experience with this combination. Best look elsewhere.
Thanks, Jim. Do you have any suggestions on where to look?
Don´t you have a modern drone to make the same ?
Hi Stephane, I need the 6kg payload capacity and use the drone the university has. So far we did not come across a reliable drone that replaced the M600.
I’m not really in the habbit of shilling our competitors, but maybe: https://www.sphengineering.com/flight-planning/ugcs
