On the fly mode does not get controller position
I run Dronelink(4.9.4) on an RC Pro, offline mostly.
When I try to use On the Fly mode(lightning bolt) without a drone connected, it shows my position as 0,0, off the coast of Africa.
When I go online, I can use the Create mode(also without a drone connected), and can hit the locate button, and it centers on my current position. This tells me it's a Dronelink issue, and not a controller GPS lock condition.

Hi Neal. It’s been a couple days since you posted the question so I’ll take a stab at this. The controller is WiFi only so I’m fairly sure you need to be connected to service for your map to cache and the location services to work. As always I can be wrong but makes sense.
Not sure I understand what the problem is. Using on the fly functions doesn't work for you?
I suppose I did not understand the limitations of On the Fly missions. I thought one would be able to create a local mission without requiring the drone actually flying to the boundary points, like in the Fly/Pilot apps, and the Dronelink create mode.
I wish it was more clear that the red point represented the drone's location. Since something was presented, in the absence of a connected drone, I assumed the point represented the controller location.
To me, no drone means no position should be shown. A drone connected, but with no GPS location obtained means the drone reports 0,0.
To me on the fly means the mission is being created while the drone is being flown
Hey Neal. The drones location should be very clear as it is a a Red arrow but it must be connected. Any other dot on the map when not connected would be the devices location. My devices location is a blue dot but I only use an iPad. Not sure if the Android is the same.
il en est de même pour Android
