Go to specific location and heading then Hover indefinitely

Greetings, 

My goal is go to a specific spot i.e. altitude and heading and hover there indefinitely. When it lands for battery swap, I need it to return to the exact same heading and altitude. Would also be nice if I could get the gimbal to -90 and start video as part of the action. I don't a full blown waypoint mission. I just want to record a 2.5 hour video of a solar installation. The client will create a time lapse from it. Can't plan this in advance 'caused I've never been there and would like to set it up when I arrive on site.

I'm on a Mavic 3 Enterprise. Any thoughts?

    Create an on the fly mission with two waypoints - the second waypoint should be where you need it to be.

    Then edit the mission and set the finish action to none - that should run the mission, position the drone correctly and then stop.  You can then leave the drone there until the battery runs out, and then just run it again to reposition.

    Note that if you are doing this I would recommend using an RTK module tied to a known point such as a CORS network.  That will significantly reduce position errors both during the flight and also when restarting.
