Dashboard is Amber

Norman Chan

After downloading Dronelink into the DJI RC Pro, the dashboard on the top right corner does not turn green. It stays amber/orange, so I can not test or tell if the RC Pro/Drone works with Dronelink.

Also, I noticed that the Dronelink app is not compatible with or supported by iOS. Does it work with the DJI Mini 3 mobile device if using Android? I'm unable to install the DJI Fly app without having security issues. Is there a way to install Dronelink alone, or does it require the DJI app?

Did you use the process to install the correct version for the RC Pro as explained in the link I’m sending. Also indicates how to install on an Android OS device with the RC-N1 controller. Must download the correct version from DL, not from the Google Play store. Hope that helps.

Yes, I downloaded directly from Dronelink and have also read the article you sent. I'm still unable to get the dashboard green and test the speed of the confetti to appear.

Just for info you Don’t need to be connected to do the confetti test. Just click on the dashboard to go into it. You can open the DL app and go into the general settings anytime. If it’s not connecting that is an issue obviously but not needed to test. The RC Pro has been tested by DL staff and has been reported to work well.

    Jim,

Please find the attached screenshots. The altitude limit is set at 120M or 390 feet, which is correct.

    Mike,

Yes, thank you. The confetti test went smoothly. We need to figure out why my dashboard is not green.

The altitude limit warning usually means that your drone has reached the maximum altitude that is either allowed in the settings, or by the NFZ that you are in or near. Does DJI let the drone take off? If so you can just tap the eye icon to hide the warning.
