Difference between a waypoint and a checkpoint and how to install a checkpoint on a mission
Hello there
I can use a public mission that has one checkpoint on it. How do I place a checkpoint on a mission and what is the difference with a waypoint, or how do I transform a waypoint into a checkpoint? Thanks

Un fil de discussion sur le checkpoint se trouve à :

Le checkpoint s'ajoute comme un waypoint ou une orbite. Voici une copie d'écran pour illustrer le sujet.

Waypoints, (a path) is a series of waypoints to fly the drone and capture media while moving along the path and has far more functionality. Heading, POI’s, change the altitude or speed and much more anywhere along the path. A checkpoint is just a simple way to get to a location and perform basic functions. It can only fly straight to the destination, no path to follow. To add a checkpoint just click on the +add and then select Advanced. Then you will see all the other functions to include a checkpoint. Good luck.
I’ll suggest again to spend time gong through the DL help articles and videos. I believe at least most of your questions can be answered in there. Enjoy.
