Compounded problems

Rex Havoc

I am deep off the grid with no cellular, only intermittent satellite Wifi via Explorenet for Dronelink on my laptop, and Wifi for the Pixel 7+ mobile device. And a ton of missions yet to fly in a short time frame.

Today, after editing some missions and redownloading, the changes were not on the mobile app. Going back to the web created another one - also not visible on the app. Rebooted device multiple times. Logged out on the web and back - changes and new mission were present. Logged out of the app - boom can't log back in, only infinite spinning circle. Now I'm dead in the water...

Please help

Hey Rex. If they are in the Web app now but you can’t get logged into the mobile app then I’d try deleting and reinstalling it. Also If you have a professional plan you have direct e-mail support as well so you may try that way. Do you have a way to check and test the actual WiFi network like with the Ookla Speed test app. At least you will know if you have actual network connection and it is a great app for checking.

    What a miserable Dronelink experience.

Mike - thank you, your suggestion worked, despite Dronelink which seems to have a hate on for Chrome:

    1) Trying to download the app using Chrome on the Pixel mobile device does NOTHING but bring up a "use package installer" dialog box that does zero. Installed Firefox, which then was able to download the package.

    2) Trying to log into support using Chrome yields "405. That’s an error. The request method GET is inappropriate for the URL /mp/collect?measurement_id=G-[redacted]&api_secret=[redacted]. That’s all we know."

Good to hear. Always seems that Firefox works best by far overall and as far as performance the link shows the difference when running the mission preview. I’ve been using Firefox for about 15 years or more and for me it’s simple and easy to use without too much garbage. I only use Chrome on occasions because the KML can not be download with Firefox. Pilots choice. Enjoy.
