Rick ensure that you have force closed DJI Fly, also give this a read to find common connection problems https://support.dronelink.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052025194-Why-is-Dronelink-unable-to-connect-to-my-drone
Thanks Martin, two issues. I force stopped DJI Fly, and used a different data cable and it works. Thank you. I'm not sure about data cables. What are the specs? I bought a long one off Amazon, and it won't work. The short one I got with my drone works perfect. I love Dronelink app by the way.
Rick, this is the cable i use with my Samsung Tab 7FE https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08H1X8CJ1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 check that you have it plugged in the right way round, the end that goes in the controller should have a small picture of the controller on it
I have a A9+ and it works but I haven't used dronelink too much. I'll let you know if I have any problems.
Yeah, it's weird. DJI Fly works. Dronelink not so much. I've never crashed and it always has returned home after I took control.
It is possible when you power up the controller and open the DL app the DJI Fly app could be automatically loading in the background. The link explains how to properly force close the DJI App with an Android OS device and also how to prevent the DJI app from even launching on power up. It may help to alleviate the connection problems in the future. As far as your comment about Dronelink not working, does that mean on how it performs, won’t load a plan or something else ?

Had the same problem if you use version1.12.6 of the djy fly app, it will work on the A9 😊 Thanks to GavinHR, you can download this version here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1s7zlkxL9UjrP5uBY4IJD9PQ6qsBbp1Ph
Or the other option is don't even bother having the DJI fly app on the tablet, you don't need it, all I use it for is updating firmware on the mini 2
That's not an option for me. I use the same tablet for my Mavic 3 Pro.
