NTRIP RTK - Setup RTK for M3E - Network RTK
So I read the setup article for the M3E, but my question is - do I even have to set up RTK in Dronelink? Most settings are carried over from the DJI Controller (for example Interval seconds for timed shots come from the controller, but can be overwritten by DL commands).
Is this also true for RTK settings or must I set them up in Dronelink as well?

RTK settings from Pilot 2 will carry over to Dronelink.
Right - Makes sense... Thanks for confirming Barry.
D-RTK settings carry over, but unfortunately not Network RTK - you have to type those in to Dronelink again.
I honestly couldn't remember but a friend was out in the field so I texted him.
He told me it carries over but...I suspect he was using his Emlid for that. I assume an Emlid and a D-RTK would be treated the same?
If Emlid is network RTK then no, they are two separate paths. When you switch between them you have to restart the drone, and when using D-RTK you need to pair it to the base station first in the pilot app. Dronelink will show the connection status but that is all.
OK, but are the NTRIP setting remembered globally in dronelink? So we don't have to reenter them for each project (ever?). I suspect they don't come over from the controller since the RTK parameters are missing from the DJI MSDK. Or is this a Dronelink missing functionality?
If you type them into Dronelink, Dronelink remembers them. They do not come over from Pilot.
Good... Thanks...
I am flying a task for a telcom inspection which has been provided by a company who uses Dronelink. I am using the Matrice 4e and a free Dronelink account to run this task. After setting up RTK in the Pilot 2 app using my NTRIP credentials, I move over to Dronelink and enter the same credentials and then press the start transmitting button and this is what Dronelink shows:
and it remains in this state regardless of what i try and do to obtain a locked RTK. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I use that RTK provider all the time - works great.
Try restarting the drone. That usually fixes it.
Good morning Barry, tried restarting drone, restarting controller, turning RTK on and off but none have worked, still remains in the state shown in the images…also tried hovering at altitude.
Silly question but... you do have an internet connection to the controller - right?
You said you entered that into Pilot 2 - did it work there?
I was literally using that exact same network with a M4E just a week ago, also using near_msm, and it worked fine.
Yes works rock solid in Pilot 2, internet connection to controller solid.
I assume you have checked that you put your password in correctly?
I need to correct what I said before. I was using that network last week with an M4E but not with Dronelink.
When you hit the button to say start transmitting, it should switch to stop transmitting after a second or two.
I just went outside and tested with my M3E and it worked fine. Here's a video showing that: https://go.screenpal.com/watch/cTXD2cnFWTM
Maybe watching that will help you figure out something?
Thank you for the video, I watched it and everything works the exact same way but when I press the start transmitting button it doesn’t change to stop transmitting and gets stuck in the yellow RTK start processing. I cut and paste my credentials from Pilot2 so that shouldn’t be the problem.
Cut and paste sometimes doesn't work - often it adds a space to the end of some fields. I would try typing it in.
If that's not the case I can see if I can get hold of an M4E to try it out but it won't be for a while as I'm tied up with other things.
I thought the same so I retyped after cut and paste still the same results…: )
That would be greatly appreciated…thanks again….on a side not not sure where that fantastic accent came from but certainly not Jersey….lol
London originally, but I've been here so long now that even when I go there they ask where I am from LOL
Ahahahahha that’s pretty funny….well their loss….our gain….great to have you this side of the pond……: )

I tried to reply with some details but it shows as pending (which often happens if I include links). Drop me an email to barry@aviosaerialmedia.com and I can send details directly but...the short answer is I tried an M4E just now and it worked fine.
Hello Joe, Barry,
Thanks for all the help Barry. Agree with all those suggestions you made. Not a bad idea to re-install the app and ensure to grant all permissions.
As stated, NTRIP needs to be setup in the Dronelink app and will not carry over.
It does not need to be setup in the Pilot app at all, and that could be interfering with the Dronelink app. Beyond what was suggested by Barry in the latest post, I'd also suggest trying to Force Stop the Pilot app to see if that helps.
Best,
Jacob
Im having the same Issue as ghost with my M4E..... Did he get it to work What did he do to fix it?
