I use an iPad mini 5 which should be slower than the iPhone 14 and have no issues.
Check what other applications are running in the background. As a suggestion, try turning off background app refresh in the settings area before starting and see if that fixes things. If it does then something else is dragging your phone down (and probably killing the battery too) and you need to find what that is.
Also, what is the ambient temp and are you using it in direct sunlight?
I just ran a 10 minute mission with my MA2 using my wife’s iPhone 14 Pro Max to see how it worked I had no issues at all. Live feed was smooth as always and I even set it to 1080 in the DJI app first, not smoother which is 720 with the MA2. As Barry mentioned you may have other apps running in the background. If you did swipe up and close all other apps regardless of what they are then something else is using up resources. Do you have any apps like Anti-Virus, spyware, adware or any other apps which perform background tasks and would not show when swiping up. That A16 chip is more than powerful enough.
