Object Avoidance Mini3 Pro

R Y

>The latest DJI firmware for MSDKv5 drones (such as the Mavic 3 Enterprise) addressed issues with the obstacle avoidance system running during Dronelink missions. Make sure to update the drones firmware. Earlier versions of the drone firmware did not support obstacle avoidance.

What is the required firmware version? Firmware issued later than Oct/2022 forces RID though the law does not require it. Many users avoid the update.

The drones firmware should always be the most current version regardless of drone so the firmware version should be the latest one. I’ve never had any issue and I’ve updated all three of my drones when a new version came out. Two of them I’ve used with DL for over 3 years and I know DL will advise the same. Enjoy.

Don't know the specific version off the top of my head but it was released in 2023 so you firmware definitely doesn't support it.

I think there is some confusion by me or in the question. The OA for the Mini 3 has been working for awhile from what I’ve read. I think it was just a reference to the M3E and issue with OA. The date mentioned is about when the firmware which was released for RFID and has nothing to do with OA. Whatever the case it’s not clear but the title says, OA for Mini 3. Always newest firmware regardless RY.
