These days all I use DJI fly for is to check that the firmware on my mini2 is up to date, everything else I use dronelink for as it is far more flexible in its use

Yes. I use an M3E all the time.

Just make sure to install the correct version for the RC Pro controller.

The getting started youtube videos walk you through how to do that.

Also for my hobbyist plan elite subscription? Don't you need a professional plan?

You will need a professional plan for that drone.

I know this app is great but I am wondering what part do you guys prefer above the mapping software of dji itself?I had a phantom pro v2 in ise with this software but the results were never that good then when I could use private pilot from.dji..the most likelihood was because of me and not fully understand the software D.L .. I sold my phantom and I only have my mavic 3 now hoping for sdk release of the ls is futile ... now we'll I have dl for nothing

Unfortunately Phanto Pro and DL don't go together very well.
my Phantom Pro V1 also had photo routing and location issues.
The situation improves with DL if you use waypoint map conversion.
Works well with DJI Pilot for tracking.

@georges "the mapping software of DJI itself" ---- DJI does not make professional software. Dronelink is the only way to roll.

Dji Pilot 2 and Dji Terra.

Dji Pilot 1 gratis only Dji Phantom series for mapping.

Correct but dji informed me that pp1 won't work anymore and ground station pro won't receive any update anymore

GSP is as old as APP uses DJI PILOT.

with Phantom 4 pro you can use the DJI Pilot 1 Android app.
It is written only for Phantom RTK but also works very well with all its brothers in the P4 series.
It's free and you can download it from the DJI website. for the Phantom it is better to use the DJI APP because, as the creators of DL say, DL does not work well with old remote controls.

I had that one but dji canceled it so i used ground station pro ..the phantom rtk still works but not the phantom pro v2..you can't determine grids anymore because the Google maps is blurry

until January 2024 everything worked fine with Phantom 4 pro v1.
then I changed drone with an Air2S and DL that I was already using for Air2.
