Dronelink DJI obstacle avoidance commands on the fly
My apologies if this is the wrong forum - I'm new to Dronelink.
I have a dji mini 3 pro and am using Dronelink DJI app, which I really like. But I can't see any way to turn obstacle avoidance on or off within the app.
Is that just something that's not there yet, or am I missing it?
Help appreciated..

All settings stick across apps and many of them need to be set first in the DJI Fly app. Once done they remain when using the DL app. You can add commands but just easier setting it up in the DJI App first. I rarely turn mine on since I’m well above everything and not needed whether using DJI or DL app. Pilots choice of course. If you get an issue were the mission won’t run or fails during the mission with a APAS error you will need to turn it off. It may not happen at all but it is possible. It has only happened to me a several times in over three years. Enjoy.
Thanks Mike..I understand now. I'll just fly carefully and hope Dronelink bring in direct avoidance control one day. 😏
A command at the very top of mission card takes seconds so not hard if that important. If it’s always on then no need to change it so pretty simple either way. DL has added many features to the app over the years particularly with the current UI. They need to prioritize them and this is so simple I don’t think it’s a priority. You never you though. Enjoy.
I hope changing obstacle avoidance settings can be added to dronelink in the future. Switching to fly is not very practical. I change mine a lot in flight.
The primary use case for Dronelink is automated missions, and these commands can be added to any mission. We do add options to the UI over time but it is lower priority (being a DJI Fly / Pilot replacement).
Yes, that will be my primary use for dronelink when I get going. That's why I bought it, since fly doesn't have missions for the mini 3 pro. But right now I'm starting out flying manually.
