Errors while mapping

HV

Hello,
When mapping today, I had some errors that would not allow me to finish the map. I'm flying a Phantom 4 Pro v2 using an iPad Pro. The plan has the following components. Camera Stop Capture>Focus Ring>Camera Focus Mode>Linear Map>Map. The camera stop capture could not execute so I landed and removed it. Then Dronelink stated it could not pitch the gimbal to 90 degrees. I tried manually pitching the gimbal but it still did not solve the issue.

I've added a screenshot of the map in case that might help.

Hi Tyler. Can you share the original mission plan so someone can look over it. Many camera commands need to be placed in the list along with other required commands and sometimes in the correct order. Looking over the plan may help.

    Hey Mike,

Sure thing. Here is a link to the flight plan. https://app.dronelink.com/0428/shareable-flight-plan/plan/2P9CBgvLDtrGK3Z3prWV/132ZhBJmCKyq9h2Kg6Be

Here is another plan that did work without errors.

Some camera commands are required and some must be added in the correct order to work properly. It may work as you have it without the focus ring but always best to set the camera completely before each mission. It’s basically the same as when using the DJI app. So for example when shooting photos intervals with the DJI you need to select Photo, Interval, then Interval Time. The other settings like ISO, Shutter, White Balance etc can be selected or added from a component list to use with DL mission. You can create a component list easily in the Web app which is completely reusable and much easier than adding each command to every plan. I added a simple list to your plan which you can look over and see what you want to change or add just to give you an idea. It’s set up for single photos because of the way the mapping component works which actually takes single photos at intervals automatically. You can add, change or remove anything you want. I’m not sure if the focus ring command will work with that specific drone which may be why it fails with that. You should be able to select the focus ring in the DL Native app in the settings if you want that feature visible so you won’t need to add a command. I don’t see anything which would cause the gimbal to not to work but try again with the camera list added and see if any issues. If the gimbal still fails then report back with any information which may help.
