Seamless Video
I am new at working with dronelink and am having an issue with video recordings in segments on a waypoint map. I have got it down to two longer videos but can't seem to make it one seamless video. I believe it may be the directional change as the gimbal appears to be about the same. Any help someone could give or point me in the direction of a video or tutorial would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Desmon Caldwell, I've just taken a look at your mission, and have found the problem:
At waypoints Alpha, Bravo, and Delta you have applied a Record Video list
Alpha
Bravo
Delta
To record video from start to finish of your mission, remove this list from each of those waypoints by clicking on the bin, having done this for all 3 Waypoints, open the main Waypoints settings, scroll down & click on Automatic Capture
Waypoints Settings
Change the setting from photo to video
Auto Video
This will then record video seamlessly from Alpha to Echo as can be seen on the preview
Auto Alpha to Echo
Your mission with the settings changed to achieve the above can be copied from here

Just as a side note, if you wanted to record video seamlessly From takeoff to mission end, you could leave the auto capture off of the waypoints component, put your record video list at the very start of the mission, then follow the waypoints component with a stop capture command
Video ground up
Ground up preview
Should you want to copy that, then its here

Hope this all helps, any problems just shout, and someone will help
I capture non-stop video on all missions about 99% of the time and use a component list at the beginning of plan. This way it’s all done in a couple clicks without needing to adjust the camera at all and records everything from start to finish. So the example Martin gave is a good way to do it but remember that only has the basic commands so you will need set the rest of camera manually before flight. Also if you add some components like an Orbit for example it is set by default to start video capture. So make sure you check any component you add into the plan to make sure it has no auto capture enabled. Otherwise it will stop your already recording video and then start capture at the beginning of the Orbit which will then give you two seperate videos instead of one continuous. Just one of many more things to learn. Lol…. Enjoy.
I'm happy they are helping - it's why I do it :)
I don't know if this is what you are looking for but I put together a video a while back that covered a number of scenarios for continuous video. Hopefully something in there helps.

Thank you, Barry. I have been watching your video over and over prior to my post. I just can't seem to figure out the stop start of my video at Bravo and why it stops after Delta on its way to Echo.
Hi Desmon Caldwell
I think I misunderstood. I didn't have time to review and thought you were talking about a problem with the video not being continuous and smooth. But, looking at Martin Reading's response I think you were actually saying there was a stop and start in the video. In which case...Martin has done a pretty comprehensive looking response.
If you are still having trouble let us know.
Thank you Martin Reading. That is exactly what I was looking for. I really do appreciate the time you spent on this. I was beating my head against the wall most of yesterday trying to understand the process. I have since applied everything you have shown me to my other flight plans. Can't thank you enough.
Barry Houldsworth I wanted to say thank you for the videos you put out as well. They have been a tremendous help in speeding up the learning curve with this program.
No problem Desmon, always willing to pass on knowledge
