After uninstall old apk, install new apk, password no longer works

RE: DJI Mavic Air 2; Samsung Galaxy S23; Android Dronelink App on phone v4.9.0

It's been several months since flying my last Dronelink mapping mission. This morning in the field, the Dronelink phone app informed me to update the app. I first uninstalled the earlier app before installing the new apk. After launching app v4.9.0 on phone, I was prompted to Login; however, my Dronelink phone app password was rejected. Any idea why?

Second & 3rd questions
On the phone, Apps, Dronelink, Notifications, I am unable to slide the Allow notifications, resulting in All notifications from this app are blocked. Why is that? and does it matter to Dronelink working properly?

    Not knowing any better, and after 3 hours of waiting for a reply. on the Dronelink phone app, trying to login with my reject password, I chose for the first time, the option afforded related to FORGOT PASSWORD?

    This then sent the phone Dronelink app into a non-responsive, NEVER ENDING spinning purple load meter... BUT EVENTUALLY, a screen loaded asking for my email and with the assurance that I'm not a robot, RESET PASSWORD, and Saved, looks like we're okay.

    Please let me know if I've gotten through this okay, or if I should do anything else.
