Pano Feature Control
Is it possible to control or adjust pano to custom settings, such as control over pitch angle, number of photos per pano, etc. I believe that I saw a youtube video where the gentleman indicated that he could adjust the specifics of the pano. Is this possible or would I be limited to pre-configured settings?

You can use the shared Dronelink 360 Photo component. You can do anything you want with that one as it is completely editable. Just add from Repo and type 360 in the search bar. There are several you can add and look at to see how they are set up. There is one in there from Dronelink.
Thanks Mike! Totally new to Dronelink, and may have stumbled across the solution to our troubles.
I haven't had a chance to dig into the operations manual yet, when you say add from repo - you are referring to building a flight plan/mission component?
Yes. Use the Web app to create a blank plan first. Place the reference pin at the location you want to launch from. Then click add, advanced then include from Repository. You will see the search bar at top and type 360 and you will see several in there. Dronelink has theirs in there but there are a couple others available which are a bit different. I’d suggest adding the DL 360 Photo component since they created it and we know it works. If you understand how to change it to get the desired pitches or headings then you can edit it to how you want it. If you need any further assistance and cannot search and find the answer here or in the DL help articles then just ask as there are other pilots here which can help.
Since you’re new to DL I’d suggest creating a Repo and name it something like test missions. You can create as many Repos or plans as you want and utilize different components with different functions if available with your plan. Then you can run the mission preview to see how it will fly. You don’t need to actually fly the mission but this way you will learn faster by testing many of the functions without needing to actually run it. The more you use the Web app the quicker you will learn how to utilize all the great features and functions. The Hobbyist Elite is well worth the one time fee and gives you more advanced planing and functions which is listed in their pricing guide. Good luck. Curious which drone are you using ?
Wow, thank you for the direction. I'm excited to dig into it. I really appreciate the time you took to lay it out for me.
Professionally, we use Aurelia X6 UAVs with Gremsy gimbals and Sony DSLR cameras. I am wanting to add a DJI M350 for a variety of uses but until recently haven't pushed it much, partly due to limited or no pano functionality. Panos aren't our focus, but it is a topic that we are leaning into more heavily. I understand that M300/350 isn't directly supported with Dronelink which is a concern, but our forward movement with it is theoretical for the moment, anyway. I may start trying a bit of proof of concept with a Mavic just to see how far into I can get.
You’re welcome Jake. Yes, The M300 & 350 as well as I believe all the other M series and Matrice are not officially supported because they don’t actively test them. I’m sure it would be very expense to purchase all those drones at what they cost to test them all. So they are supported or they would not be listed as usable just not officially because they can’t test. If you search this forum you can find a lot of threads about some of these drones and the possible issues depending on which one it is. The Mavic series drones are solid and work fantastic with DL. If you eventually want to purchase any plan there is 14 day period which you can request a refund if it won’t work for your needs. Good luck.
