Camera setting
Hello,
I have a camera setting question, that I can't figure out how it changed.
I've been flying the same waypoint mission for 4 months now, with my Mavic 3E, and when I flew today and got back to upload the photographs, I noticed the slight fade in each corner of the photographs. These are done biweekly, and the only other time I opened the app up since the last flight, was when I programmed a mapping mission and noticed it on that mission as well. Is there a way to just change it back to regular photograph style on desktop version or do I need to go into the app on RC? It doesn't occur when flying in Pilot 2 app. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Michael, You will need to open the DJI app on the RC Pro and then go to camera settings when open. the three dots at the right at the top of that window will open a list where you will find "de-warping" make sure that is enabled and that will remove the fish eye effect and the 4 black areas in the corners. Once you have done this it should save it as standard so whenever you start the app (or dronelink), it should remember this setting and you won't need to do it again. This must have been an update on the firmware to enable a wider field of view on the wide camera as it didn't have this issue when switching to the zoom camera.
I replied to your Facebook post as well, but thought it may affect a few more people so posted here as well..
Thank you Michael. I appreciate your research and response. Stay safe
As Michael noted you need to charge dewarp to on in the Pilot app.
There is a dewarp function but it's not currently working. I've filed a bug report for that already.
Barry Houldsworth thank you. I’ll make the change and give it try.
An updates on the dewarp function? If my understanding is correct, we cannot currently fly a mapping component and photo component linked in a mission together as we have to land the drone, open Pilot 2 and change the setting manually then restart dronelink to start the next mission. Drone Deploy can do this so I know it's possible...
You can add a dewarp command to any mission.
But it does nothing. Read Barry's comment above. I can confirm this still doesn't work. Ran following mission. Still ended up with all vignette photos. The second orbit was a photo orbit
What's weird is that dronelink changes the setting during a settings only desktop mission. Confirmed this by switching back and forth between dronelink and Pilot 2 but like I said in the above mission. The second orbit produced all vignetted photos as with dewarping turned off, even though from the mission you can see it was set to turn on.
