Waypoints dont match the mission plan
Hi, when i create a linear mission following the contour of the coastline near me which has slight bends and turns when i convert the mission to DJI waypoints the bends are no longer there and only straight lines. Is there a way for Dronelink to create the exact route that i have planned like Map Pilot pro instead of replacing my route with straight line paths?

By default there are waypoints every 25ft. It looks like you changed that. Leave it at 25ft and you should be fine.
where do i change that at?
I didnt change any settings... it still makes straight lines instead of following my path.
Here i tried a linear survey with larger turns and the waypoint mission is completely different.
This is what Dronelink spit out as my waypoint mission.
Interesting. Normally when you convert to waypoints it adds a waypoint every 25ft. It seems that linear plans are not doing that so maybe that is something that Jim McAndrew needs to look into. It could be deliberate or something that needs a tweak.
The DJI Waypoint converted was never updated to work well with linear maps as the later feature was released after the former. Will add it to the list.
This is still on the list but less than 1% of all Dronelink missions use onboard waypoints so it is unlikely to be prioritized any time soon.
