Issue with gimbal angle not remaining constant during mission
Hello all,
Im having a similar issue to this previous problem:
However, this isn't isolated to when the drone is turning, but can occasionally happen during a straight leg of a grid-type mission.
Additionally, this can also happen even in windless conditions. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, or repeatability, that I can discern. I find that Im needing to really keep an eye on the gimbal angle during missions, and try and be as alert and responsive to changes from nadir.
Im using the most up to date kernel of Dronelink, and flying a DJI Mini2.
Thanks in advance.

Looks like you have at least done the research unlike so many others. Only thing I can suggest is to use DJI Assistant 2 and do a refresh on everything. Since it seems to be an hardware issue and only sometimes as mentioned it may not help but can’t hurt.
Thanks very much @Mike, very much appreciated.
I'll give this a try, see if it helps remove the problem.
Thanks
Update - Ive updated the firmware in both the drone and the controller, as well as ensuring that the app was fully up to date.
Unfortunately this hadnt fixed the problem, and a couple of times for no apparent reason the gimbal angle changed during a flight, and I had to keep an eye on it and manually quickly return it to zero.
Not sure what to try now, its not really affecting performance of recreation but a bit annoying and means I have to keep a close eye on it.
This is a known bug in the DJI firmware and it is the reason why we allowed tilting the gimbal manually during maps (so the user can correct it).
Thanks very much Jim. Thats good to know and something I'll continue to keep an eye on.
