Dronelink recently added support for over 30 local currencies and we chose to price the software differently in each currency to make it more equitable in less developed countries with lower purchasing power (higher PPP).
Having just come back from Bali, I can tell you that $25 there is a lot of money to the locals so I think it's great that you are making it more affordable.
Nothing that Dronelink can do about the 20% VAT, I've always found that prices quoted on the internet for software is quoted as a price plus local taxes, also Dronelink surpasses Litchi on so many fronts, take for example development for use with mini3:
Litchi pilot - still in beta and only waypoints being worked on at the moment, and when it comes out of beta if you've got the original Litchi, you'll need to purchase Litchi Pilot separately.
Dronelink DJI - out of beta with the same capability's as the original Dronelink, so Waypoints, orbits, mapping etc, and if you've got Dronelink, you can download Dronelink at no additional cost, and on that point if you decide to move your phone to a different OS say from Iphone to Android, you just download and install it, whereas yet again with Litchi you'll have to purchase it again.
And I'd like to point out that I'm just a normal drone Pilot in the UK with no connection to Dronelink apart from using their app, I also have Litchi & Rainbow Pro, both of which I never use

Foreign Aid program.
Is the functionality different? Thank you very much for your answer!
It is the same regardless of the currency.

I'm originally from Canada. Where's my discount?
I can't tell if you are joking, but Canada is not a less developed country.
Yes I was joking, but judging by Trudeau's antics, soon Canada will become an undeveloped country.
So UK is more developed than the US ? , getting a local price of £59 and VAT 20% bringing the total to £79 ?
Kind of sharp practice that the variable pricing not mentioned to near the end and the VAT at the end
And for a version which counts things which are part of cheaper apps such as litchi eg FlightData & kml export as extras
