Precision orbit and facade inspection question

Mike Liggett
Hello- I am hoping for some guidance on an issue encountered with orbit and facade inspections. I need to do close proximity orbits and facade inspections and have found that tracing the building on the map in the planning tool does not always get the location accurate enough. This causes the drone to fly closer to some walls or adjacent obstacles than expected and I have to abort the mission. This is particularly an issue with tall smoke stacks, where it is very difficult to locate the center of the stack from the map because it does not model well from satellite imagery. Many of my projects are out of town and I don’t always have the luxury of mapping the site first in order to get an accurate coordinates for corners or centers. Is there a method in the mission planning tool to ensure better accuracy of building corners or the center of a large stack? Thanks Mike
