DJI Air 2s recorded altitude.

HÃ¥kan Mattsson

Two missions in same area on two different days, same altitude and follow ground it was suppost to fly, one recorded minus (below sea level) and one was way to high. And if you look at photos it seems like the flight altitude was way to high in one of the missions, checked settings and they were the same. What can be the problem?

The altitude reported on screen is above the takeoff location (not sea level), and it is based on a barometric altimeter which fluctuates over the course of a flight with changes in air pressure. We have observed as much as +/- 5m of fluctuation over the course of a 20 minute flight for example. As this is an issue with the underlying hardware / sensors, this is not specific to Dronelink.
