I doubt DL will specifically recommend any device. If it didn’t work then the customer would blame DL. Which drone are you using as that may make a difference ? Only Android OS devices can be used with the newer Mavic 3E or Mini 3’s series drones. If it’s what they call a “Legacy” drone as in any older drone released before the other two you can use either IOS or Android OS device. Here is a fairly new list of devices which indicates there functionality and performance. Also some info regarding the overall requirements. I’d go through those help articles for additional information.
