update homepoint
How can I update manually the homepoint when a mission is in progress ? I can only see an adjust RTH altitude menu, but nothing similar to "update home point" in DJI fly safety menu

Not exactly : having a permanent update of the HomePoint can be understandable as a premium/confort feature.
Just being able to update the homepoint at a specific moment via safety menu looks like a standard/basic feature that should not be only available on "Pro" plans.

So many Hobbyist have requested to include many functions over the last several years and If DL was to included them in the Hobbyist plans they would have become more in line with the professional subscription plans which is where DL makes it money. The Hobbyist plans are a small one time payment so not really much money to be made with these plans which are only for fun/ recreational purposes. The advanced functions aren’t absolutely necessary as they would be with a professional plan. I’ve never had an issue with safety due to home-point not being updated during flight and I have a ton of time using DL. I have used their app for almost three years without needing it. You mentioned safety reason so just out of curiosity what would be the application is which you would need it ? Sometimes DL can add a function À la carte but it’s on a case by case basis. Enjoy.

thanks for getting back to me so promptly. I was mentioning safety menu where that function is available in DJI fly, not a safety reason.
I my use, I often have to move from lunching location because transmission will improve, experiencing more people around me, so I would move to a less "crowded" place... angles for shooting details of a structure or building will make me move to keep VLOS.... well, by habit I used to always update my position, feeling that is a safer approche.
That is a complete different request than requiring the continuous update because I would want to use the remote on a boat or a car. Then it is a comfort and I is understandable to pay for it.
For me it always has been a basis feature that just makes me able to manually update going into the menus... which still anoying, but make then sense to pay for having auto updating.
Understood. Since DL upgraded the UI to the modern dashboard awhile back they have been continuously adding more functions. There are several other functions still pending which I believe may be more of a priority compared to the non priority. I know they always read and listen to these post everyday and I’m sure if implemented they will advise when available. The more up-votes on feature requests may help. 👍🏼
