Pixel 4 Pro Support?
Will the app work with the Pixel 4 Pro that I found at the bottom of my drawer ;) (iOS is my daily driver)
Release notes state that the Google Pixel 6 & 7 are not supported.
I just ordered a RC N1 remote to test this and wondering if I will need an new Android device as well.

Which drone ? IOS devices can be used on a lot of models. Only the two newer Mavic 3E or Mini 3’s must use an Android OS based device. I’d say it Probably won’t work for many reasons but you can try. They recommend a device which has been released in last year, maybe two at most.

I should have stated Mavic Mini 3 Pro! I recall seeing something about certain configurations with newer devices & OSs having issues. So I didn't want to assume that a 4 year old device would be immediately unsupported.
Yeah. All you can do is give it a try. Since the Pixel 6 & 7 are indicated as not working then I’m just guessing an older one won’t.

Thanks Mike and Jim 👍🏻
I bet it will work to some degree. I've flown with both a pixel 5 and a pixel 7 pro. The pixel 7 pro is less prone to crashing, but both will run the app and return video.
Don’t know what the difference is but Dronelink list the Pixel 4a as medium performance device. Here is the Google Spreadsheet they put together not long ago with other devices as well. It may help if you need to upgrade.

I purchased the rcN1 remote and did a quick test with the Pixel 4. It connects and I can view the camera. I will go to a very large field and run a conservative mission.
It will probably have to wait until I get back from holiday towards the end of the month though.
