Mini 3 Pro -- Emergency propeller stop setting? and.... Digital zoom control? (and, real documentation please)
I recently opened a growth account for my mini 3 pro (using RC Pro), and from what I can tell there is no support for the two items mentioned: here:
1) Emergency propeller stop (in DJI Fly App this is under Advanced Safety settings and allows a choice of when prop motors will stop in flight, either by user command when both sticks pulled down and to center (potentially dangerous), or only when the onboard flight controls determine the drone is out of control). To me, this is a very important setting, yet I see nothing for it in the RC Pro dronelink app when the mini 3 Pro is powered on. Is it hidden somewhere, or can I assume that if I previously set this a certain way when using the DJI Fly app that the drone will remember and retain this behavior even when flying with dronelink?
2) The Mini 3 Pro has digital zoom capability and normally (in the Fly app) the zoom can be controlled by the right wheel on the RC Pro. With dronelink running on the RC Pro, there does not seem to be a way to zoom at all, the right wheel does nothing and screen pinching also does nothing. Is digital zoom supported at all?
I also have the same questions for Mavic 3 Enterprise, which I will also be using dronelink for but have not yet had a chance to try.
(Note that I have ensured that the Fly app was "force stopped" when using dronelink, as is required.)
As a sidenote, I would really like to see a more comprehensive user manual for Dronelink that fully covers all settings, instead of relying on a set of example use case descriptions that focus just on what is felt to be the most common areas of interest. This product is way too mature, complex, and pricey for us to need to rely on such casual documentation (and no, the videos are not a solution for the point I'm making).
With regard to drone-specific documentation on limitations/issues, as a case in point, neither of the basic issues I ask about above are addressed for the Mini 3 Pro that I can see.

Yes, and this is true with all drone, camera, gimbal, and RC settings. Settings that don’t carry over are app specific, such as live streaming configurations or network RTK settings. Having said that, feel free to submit it as a feature request to show it in the menu.

Actual written documentation has been requested many times before (particularly when all we had were videos), and since then we have been slowly but surely creating many articles here. As you have pointed out, the product is very mature, which means this process will take some time, and in the end no matter what we do, I am sure it can always be improved with more details. If there are specific articles you would like to see created or updated on specific topics or settings, please let us know and we will continue to do our best to publish the information.
